The guitarist/singer with a bazillion songs plays everything from R&B and rockabilly to ballads and Frank Sinatra -- music from the 50s to the 70s.  He invites a bassist or drummer to join him.

Southern Oregon Jazz Orchestra

Tuesday, February 14th, 7:00 pm, $7 cover

Prepare to be blown away by the biggest big band in the Rogue Valley, featuring some of the finest jazz soloists around.  If you haven't heard them before, you need to.  With the likes of Pat Debellis on trumpet, Michael Vannice and Joe Chankin on sax, plus Alan Berman on piano and vocals.  As an added treat, Dianne Strong is the songbird for this group.  Make reservations early -- they always fill the place.


BackPorchSwing February 12th, 2:00 pm, No Cover
Back Porch Swing is a 4-piece, acoustic string band that plays 1930s and 1940s vintage jazz: the compositions of Django Reinhardt and other jazz greats (Cole Porter, Duke Ellington, Johnny Mercer and others). Dennis Freese plays reeds, flute and sings, and Linda Power’s violin provide beautiful harmonies on the melodies.  The rest of this popular band include George Rubaloff on rhythm guitar and Jeff Addicott on bass.

David Scoggin Trio February 19th 2pm No Cover

David Scoggin and Mike Moellman will play acoustic jazz duets in an interactive modern style, including jazz classics, David's original compositions, some New Orleans R&B with vocals, and some Christmas jazz.
